Club member Murray  Ching and partner Margot are in the US. Murray keeps us informed of whats going on with their travels. This is their second report

Subject: ON THE ROAD

Hi everyone I have been out on the road passenger with another Kiwi for the last week.

We left Little Rock with a load of kitchen appliances 10000lbs/5tons, if you can call that a load, and drove to Chicago.

Arrived in the snow and off loaded 6000lbs then took the rest to Cleveland and arrived in a blizzard at 8pm. Slept in the truck at the dropoff point unloaded at 7am then drove 150mls to pick up truck parts that were going to Mexico 24000lbs about half a load. We then drove for 2 days to Laredo Texas were the trailer is xferd to a Mexican Co. to take across the border.

We sat for 48hrs waiting for a load out. this time a fridge van with 42000lbs of cabbages to Green Bay close to the Canadian border.

I have come back to Little Rock as the paperwork allowing me to sit my license has come thru so will be doing that over the next few days. Everything being equal we should be out in our own truck in a week. Margot is in Dallas and is sitting her license on Friday.
